Enjoy my newest poetry book, Just Chillin’. It has been a cold one lately, and the mood has been rather frosty. The weather has been cruel and so has life, at times. What matters most is staying warm and helping other through difficult times! These poems contain the heat you need for this cold winter! Love you all and enjoy this cold edition of Just Chillin’!

Frozen Roses
It can be a cold world.
I don’t have to tell you
that. We know this.
Events, people, places
can stop us in our tracks.
It can get chilly. Life can
freeze almost all things:
just not time. Not this
time. We must carry
the warmth needed
to keep us heated.
We must survive this
snowstorm that keeps
most frozen. Pedals
from your frozen roses
remind me to find truth –
to remain warm: alive.
Your frozen roses remind
me to search and find
love I have left behind.
Road to Nowhere
The road stays long no matter my speed. Everything goes wrong for those in need. The road shows no mercy to those hurting; It doesn't freeze those who are burning. The road is driven and often abused. Many drive the road with a life to lose. The road was made by a fearless soul crafting diamonds out of coal. The road to nowhere is always open And never is the way we are hoping.
