The End of Time

We won’t see the end of time.
Our time will end before
the earth stops spinning.
Life goes on. Every right
will be left to be wronged.
Every rhythm lives on
within each timeless song.
The end of time is a sign
that is out of our sight.
The end of time will not
present itself with or without
Mother Earth and her help.
The time we have now
is now the time of the past.
There is no way to pause
as moments fly by fast.
There is no effect without
cause. Life will surround
those up and those down.
The end of time starts
when our souls depart.

We Will See

One day, we will see.
We will see everything
we have done unfold
in front of our eyes.
We will see life and
death walk side-by-side
our entire lives. We
will see seeds become
trees, boys become men,
men become husbands,
husbands become fathers,
fathers become grand-
fathers, nothing become
something. We will see
something become no-
thing. One day, we will
see that we should be
happy the way life is.
One day, we will see
that our life wasn’t free.
I believe we will see
everything that we need.

In the Woods

In the woods, all life thrives.
Animals roam in their home.
Some people choose to move.
Some stay put in the woods –
to experience mother nature.
In the woods, energy changes
without help from human
hands or plans of destruction.
In the woods, this life is good,
like it should be. In the woods,
time stops. Nature goes without
a clock. Life pushes on and on.
In the woods, all worry is gone.

Spring Healing

Sunshine will soon shimmer.
The scorching sun will remind
us that we are at the mercy
of Mother Earth as Father Time
takes its course. It’s cold now,
but you just wait. Not before
long, the cold will grow old
and be gone. I see us feeling
more free in the coming weeks.
I can see new beams of love
coming from above. I know
there are good days ahead
with more light to be shed.

A Rainbow’s End

I have traveled many miles
to see the end of the rainbow.
I have seen time slip before
my very eyes. To my surprise,
Mother Nature never lied.
I searched far and wide,
outside and inside, to find
a better life at the end
of the rainbow. I know that
I traveled to the end and back.
I must appreciate the rainbow
before it decides to turn black.
