To jump all in means to be here when it begins. We must be ready –
I shift gears. I run past
mirrors fast. I just go.
It is new to you – something strange.
Down the street,
not one house is the same.
I freeze in time and think: please. Please let me catch all your leaves.
Because I have wrapped up my first chapbook collection, I am starting a new one.
When we all rise, it won’t be a surprise.
