Alone, on the water, I lay.
It’s just me. Nothing to say.
I’ve been drifting all night
and day. I am drifting
out of sight. I’ll be alright.
This water has taken me
and pushed me to be
another man lost at sea.
I’m not lost; I’m just free.
I drift closer to the sun
and I begin to think –
I’m not the only one.
