The Reason

What is the reason why
I care so much? A bunch
of my thoughts pass through
my soul and heart. Thoughts
touch every part of my body
before they are vocalized.
I try to reason with myself
before I decide to get mad
at somebody else. Well,
it’s the reason I try so hard.
There is a reason behind
every decision that is made.
I question my ability to be
the best person I can be.
That’s the reason I try.
I won’t give you a hard time.
I will give you a reason
to ensure you understand
I’m doing the best I can.
