Life is tough. You can take that
to the bank. I can’t tell you how
many ships I sank. Moving forward
takes energy. Taking action pulls
you from relaxation. We see what
we want to see. We believe what
we perceive. Life is like small raft
moving fast in a vast ocean. Motion.
Constantly trying. It can be tiring.
This journey comes without warning.
Each day, we learn something new.
Ain’t no way we all know what to do.
The crashing waves teach us how to
behave. Some of us can’t be saved.
Today, or tomorrow, you just might
receive an important reality check.
You best cash it before the clock
ticks zero, before there is nothing left.
