You don’t have to be in first place.
You don’t need to be better than
the rest. Just give it a rest. Compare
yourself to no one. Being the best
never mattered in the first place.
No need to put pressure on yourself.
Accept the help. Lend a hand. Push
others to cross the finish line. Hold
their hand up and crown a new
winner. Support. It may feel like
a race, but no one is rushing to
the finish line. We will cross that
bridge when we get there. Forget
first place. Put a smile on your face.
Just be nice in the first place.
Some are fire. Some are ice. Don’t
rush – one day you will win it all
when the day fades to night;
when the light flickers out.
Until then, cherish your time
on earth. You don’t have to be first.
Things don’t last when we go fast.
every now and then,
being first takes you one step
closer to the grave

This is so true! Pure soul and strength. Things were surely more simple and love was flowing without such comparisons
