Strong, fearless, protective. Loving
to no end. A mother’s touch can heal
the deepest of wounds. Nothing
will stop a mother from being
the guardian a child seeks.
Long nights. Very little sleep.
Self doubt. Just want to shout.
Regardless of being tired,
mothers raise children higher.
They understand and listen.
They love unconditionally.
It’s the good, they can see.
They can always put out fires
burning out of control. They
know exactly what to say.
Mothers pass down traits:
the knowledge to choose
love over hate. Giving the gift
of life, mothers hold us through
the night. Thank you for your effort.
Thank you for raising me. Happy
Mothers Day is the least I can say.
