Some people say that

diamonds are forever.

Those are the same people

who don’t know better.

Royal crowns can be worn

by fools. Gold and silver

just make people bitter.

People try to chase

things easily replaced.

Some spend all their time

hoping to find a buried

treasure chest: a holy grail.

It’s funny because people

search their entire life

just to fail. We can’t take

anything with us when

we pass on. Everything

will be long gone. Don’t

spend your time trying

to fill the hole in your soul

with diamonds that don’t

last forever. Use your time

wisely. Don’t waste it running

after a shiny bracelet, wrist-

watch, or Pearl necklace.

This is a profoundly insightful and thought-provoking piece. 🌿✨

I love how it challenges conventional notions of value and permanence, reminding readers that material possessions—though glittering and desirable—cannot fill the deeper voids within us. The contrast you draw between fleeting wealth and enduring wisdom is both sharp and poignant.

Lines like “Some spend all their time hoping to find a buried treasure chest… just to fail” and “Don’t spend your time trying to fill the hole in your soul with diamonds that don’t last forever” resonate deeply, encouraging reflection on what truly matters in life: time, purpose, and meaningful experiences rather than shallow pursuits.
