In life, there’s a sense of serenity in infinity
with the fear of forever. There’s a search
for salvation, a pursuit for happiness,
and a determination to define the divine:
all of which will occupy our time. Every path
taken leads to the same place.
Through my journey, I have discovered that
a black hole can consume countless souls.
One day, outer space will be our final destination.
We’ll find inner peace before we get there.
Acceptance is knowing that fate must be faced.
It’s destined to be. When the time comes,
We must hug Mother Nature and say goodbye
to Father Time. We may be light-years apart,
but I have confidence that when I have lived
my life, we will rejoice. There’s plenty of space
for both of us. In fact, there’ll be enough space
for all of us. In the cosmos, there are no highs
or lows: just ethereal love that will always
grow. In this life, I’ve witnessed many
cross the rainbow bridge. I have seen
tortured souls climb the staircase to heaven.
I’ve seen those dearly departed grow wings,
fly past the clouds, and traverse the sky.
I’ve also seen evil spirits dig holes
straight to hell or find themselves stuck
in purgatory. We are distracted by death,
so we forget to live. To die is to transcend:
which means to walk a path that bridges
the gap between fear and love. We are transient
travelers: mere mortals living on borrowed time.
As each journey ends, a metamorphosis takes
place; the tangible becomes abstract.
The physical becomes otherworldly.
The visible becomes invisible. Occupancy becomes
vacancy. We become intergalactic matter: space dust –
interstellar entities existing everywhere but nowhere
all at once. Despite all this, during the grand exit –
our inevitable exodus, we leave footprints – steps to be
retraced. We leave trails of love, lessons, and memories.
When it seems like our loved ones have left us for good,
we must remember that they are now shooting stars
sending us signals – transmissions – from above.
They will always visit. They are beacons of light
that provide guidance during the darkest of nights.
They are letting us know that it will be all right.
If you ever feel lost, just look up, and they will be
next to the moon and amongst the constellations.
Every soul is eventually set free in a place where time
does not exist, and space is limitless. They called Earth
home: a place they surely miss. Don’t stress; the stars
will align, and the universe will take care of the rest.
Everything will be alright. Don’t worry; as the sun
sets and it gets dark, we will walk outside and look
at the still sky. When we see a shooting star,
we will know who paid us a visit tonight.
